The history of wine Making dates back to 6000 B.C. or the before -The most recorded period was the early Greek empire expansion, some thousand years before Christ. From there wine making spread to Italy, north Africa and France. The Romans were the fist to age wine in wooden barrels instead of early earthen ware which was easily broken and difficult to seal allowing air and contaminates seep into the container there by changing the wine into vinegar.
